Road Runner Launches In Gaston County
|

Time Warner Cable subscribers joined the news media
and city and county officials at the Schiele Museum
May 12-14 for the launch of both Road Runner and Digital Cable
service in Gaston County. A Road Runner kiosk
remained at the Schiele Museum all summer, providing
Gaston County residents with an ongoing opportunity
to try out Road Runner first-hand. Time Warner Cable
was also the sponsor of the
Scaly & Slimy
exhibit at the museum, which ran through August 20th.

New York Times says DSL is "problem-ridden"
|

Customers are stymied from dealing with the complexities of Digital Subscriber Lines (DSL).
Even Andy Grove, the chairman of the Intel Corporation, had to wait a week for
his D.S.L. service to be repaired in his Silicon Valley home.
Also, unlike cable, D.S.L. is limited by the location of telephone switching equipment.
